Our client, a leading digital consulting firm, is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join their team in revolutionising airline offer and order management systems. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in reinventing the digital landscape for airlines, enabling them to adapt to changing market demands and enhance customer experiences.

Position Overview

As a Solution Architect, you will be instrumental in advising high-level stakeholders and translating business requirements into designs for secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. You will be at the forefront of designing, building, and testing complex target architectures and their integration within legacy environments, particularly in airline commercial technology ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Advise high-level stakeholders and translate business requirements into designs for secure, scalable, and reliable solutions
• Design, build, and test complex target architectures and their integration in legacy environments within airline commercial technology ecosystems
• Work on transactional applications involving complex back-end service integrations and service-oriented architectures
• Lead client workshops, facilitate solution discovery, and build impactful client presentations
• Undertake in-depth technical and functional analysis to deliver insightful findings
• Manage junior resources on projects and share knowledge through internal training sessions
• Identify business opportunities and contribute to RFP responses

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in solution architecture
• Strong experience with PSS, merchandising solutions, fare shopping engines, revenue management systems, payment orchestration platforms, digital commerce/eCommerce engines, and NDC platforms
• Familiarity with industry standards activities (IATA) and new generation Offer & Order Management Systems is a plus
• Significant experience working on projects involving business users, UX, and development teams
• Excellent communication skills to interact with top and middle management
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Good project management skills and knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA/Confluence, and technical diagramming tools
• TOGAF certification is not mandatory but preferred
