Job Description

Business Project Manager is being sought by a global, Wiltshire, UK based business for initial 6-month contract.

This role will lead two strategic discovery programmes focused on customer reporting, data platforms and telematics transformation. The successful person will help define the future direction of two business-critical initiatives before moving into delivery once approved.

The role is based in Wiltshire with 3 x days/week on site and is outside IR35.

As the Business Project Manager, you will be:

  • Leading the discovery phase for two major transformation programmes focused on customer reporting, data platforms and telematics.
  • Bringing structure, momentum and accountability to complex initiatives that are still being defined.
  • Facilitating workshops across business, product, architecture, data and technology teams.
  • Building delivery roadmaps, governance models, business cases and investment recommendations.
  • Managing risks, dependencies and stakeholder alignment across multiple workstreams.
  • Ensuring discovery outputs are ready for executive approval and future delivery.
  • Translating technical discussions into clear business impact and delivery decisions.
  • Driving progress proactively rather than simply tracking actions.

  • Has experience leading discovery and definition phases for digital, platform or technology transformation programmes.
  • Can build business cases and investment recommendations from discovery outputs.
  • Has strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation experience.
  • Is comfortable working in ambiguous environments where requirements are still evolving.
  • Can work closely with technical teams without needing to be deeply technical.
  • Brings a hands-on, proactive approach and naturally drives momentum across teams.
