Business Analyst - Leading Global Not-for-profit

Our client, a renowned international technical professional service provider, is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join their team in London or Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of novel technology and deliver solutions that shape the future of the marine and offshore industry.

Position Overview

As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving process optimisation for a global leader in marine and offshore services through process mapping, optimisation, and simplification of operational transformation projects;
Working closely with architects, project managers, and diverse stakeholders, you will gather and analyse business requirements, support system thinking and workflow logic, and contribute to global standardisation efforts.
Your work will be instrumental in ensuring the organisation remains "easy to do business with" and delivers projects successfully throughout the full project life-cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Drive process mapping, optimisation, and simplification of an existing systems workflows

  • Collaborate with architects to align BA outputs with agreed architectural principles

  • Work with PMs to shape business cases at discovery phases of projects

  • Gather and analyse business requirements from diverse stakeholders

  • Support system thinking and workflow logic

  • Assist with global standardisation and maintain stakeholder alignment

  • Ensure BA deliverables support "easy to do business with" goals

  • Contribute to project delivery through the full life-cycle, including post-go-live support

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in large/global organisations

  • Demonstrated experience across full project life-cycle (discovery, delivery, post-support)

  • Strong background in process analysis and business process improvement projects

  • Experience in business case development at early project stages

  • Familiarity with architectural principles, systems workflows, and data understanding

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills

  • Adaptive stakeholder engagement for technical and non-technical audiences

  • Previous experience on global projects with multi-country stakeholders

  • Strong ownership mindset (proactive, solutions-oriented, delivery-driven)

  • Experience in ambiguous environments, bringing structure and clarity

  • Experience across multiple sectors (e.g., professional services, telecom, retail)

  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

  • Background in professional services or operational transformation projects (desirable)
